Overheard a foreman bragging about skipping expansion joints on a long wall
Said he'd done it for 15 years and never had a call back, but I watched a 40-foot wall crack right through the middle last spring on a job in Tucson and the homeowner sued for $12,000 - has anyone else seen this come back to bite someone?

Guess I'm lucky my own screwups just cost me time and not twelve grand... not that I'd know anything about cutting corners lol. That foreman better hope his luck holds out a few more years before retirement.

Well 15 years without a call back just means he's been lucky, not right. That Tucson homeowner is probably laughing all the way to the bank now.
