Bought a $340 brick tongs setup at a supplier in Sacramento, best money I ever spent or worst?
I used to carry every brick one at a time up the scaffold and my back was wrecked by 2pm, so I dropped $340 on a pair of brick tongs and a better fork at a supplier in Sacramento. First job with them, I moved 600 bricks in 3 hours and felt fine after, which honestly freaked me out a little. Now my old partner says tongs are for guys who can't grip, but he's also the one icing his wrist every night. Anyone else get grief for using tongs or do you all just carry them by hand like it's 1975?
