Serious question, has anyone else seen the new 'simplified' logo for the First National Bank of Omaha?

I was at a branch in Lincoln last week to get a cashier's check and the new sign was up. They stripped all the classic serif lettering and the detailed eagle for a flat, blue wordmark. It looks like every other tech startup now. I worry this is a real loss of trust for older customers who see that eagle as a sign of stability. What do you think about banks dropping their traditional symbols?
