PSA: That rebrand my boss pushed in one week is already failing
Last Wednesday I watched our marketing director force a new logo and color scheme through in 5 days. She picked a purple orange combo that looked fine on screen but printed like mud on our packaging. Our old customers started complaining by Friday afternoon that they couldn't find us on shelves. Has anyone else dealt with a rushed rebrand that killed their brand recognition that fast?

Oh come on, is it really that bad? Five days isn't ideal but people act like a logo change is the end of the world. Your old customers probably just got surprised by the new look, they'll find you again after a week or two. I've seen companies swap their entire brand overnight and bounce back just fine. The purple orange combo sounds ugly on paper but maybe give it a chance before calling it a total failure. Most of the time these rebrand meltdowns are mostly in the head of the person who pushed the change, not the customers.

Right there with you. My local coffee shop changed their name and logo last year. Same owners, same coffee, just a new look. The first week was brutal. People walked right past the door. Even regulars got confused and stood outside squinting at the sign. Took a solid two weeks before things felt normal again. But now? Nobody even remembers the old logo. The customers came back. The new look grew on everyone. The anxiety is almost always worse than the actual outcome. Your experience matches mine perfectly.
