My dad told me our old family diner's logo looked like a clip art mess from 1998, and suddenly I couldn't unsee how much fast food branding has changed since then.
He pointed out the drop shadow on the text and the jagged edges on the burger in the sign, and it hit me how even cheap designs from 20 years ago feel totally outdated now - has anyone else had a relative totally roast a vintage logo and make you rethink the whole era of branding?

Twenty years ago is not that long ago man, we're acting like we're talking about the 70s here. A drop shadow and some jagged edges just means the sign was made by some guy in a shop not some huge agency, who cares if it looks a bit dated.

Yeah @adams82, but it's wild how even the cheap stuff back then had a certain look you just don't see anymore.
