My buddy said my pickle label looked like a '90s yard sale and honestly he was right
I make hot pickles in small batches and sell them at the farmers market in Boise, and for two years my label was just green text on a white sticker. My buddy Dan took one look and said it looked like something printed in his grandma's basement in 1994. I got mad for about a day, then I really looked at it next to the jam lady's jars, and mine looked like a tax form. So I paid a design student $75 to redo the whole thing with one big pepper drawing and three colors. Sales went from about 12 jars a market to 31 in the first month after the swap. The funny part is Dan was not even a designer, he just had eyes. Has anyone else gotten a blunt label note from a friend that turned out to be a gift?
