Honestly I rolled my eyes when they dropped the flat design version in 2024, felt like they just deleted the drop shadow and called it a day. Then I stood in line at a Speedway in Erie holding a 12 pack and the bold block letters read clear from 20 feet away, which the old logo never did. The cans also look way better on a shelf next to other brands because that bright green pops instead of getting muddy. Tbh I still think it's lazy compared to the 90s logo, but I get why a brand that size would trade detail for instant reading at a glance. Anyone else have a redesign they hated online but came around on once they saw it in a store?
