Hit 50 logo revisions for one client and started questioning everything
Just wrapped a brand project where we went through 50 iterations of the same logo mark. Client kept asking for tweaks but never got happier. Do you set a hard limit on revisions before starting a project or just ride it out? I'm leaning toward a 3 round cap after this experience.

Three max and then I start charging them double after every round until they stop.

Honestly, what's 50 revisions when the client is paying you to keep working? If they're not pushing back on the bill, you're basically getting paid to iterate until they're happy or give up.

Set a firm cap upfront (like 3 rounds included) and then charge a flat rate per revision round after that. Clients either get picky faster or you make good money on the extras.
