Courier font on a roofing invoice made me double-check every quote

Switched our estimates from a modern sans to that old typewriter look for a month and watched three customers ask if the numbers were set in stone, then I realized it reads as 'no wiggle room' instead of 'premium', has anyone else seen a font shift change how people treat your pricing?

Typewriter font screams "final answer, signed in blood." People don't read it as fancy, they read it as a government form. Sans font feels like a conversation, courier feels like a contract. You basically told your customers "this price is set, don't even try." Bad move for roofing where everyone expects to haggle a little. Switch back and watch the pushback soften.
