Appreciation post: Minimalist logos used to bore me, now I get it

I always thought really simple logos with no detail were just lazy design, like the company did not even try. I changed my mind hard after seeing a local tech firm's rebrand. They went from a busy, complicated badge to a single flat color shape. It looks clean on their app icon, their website, even stitched small on a work shirt. That's when it clicked for me, a good minimal mark works everywhere without fuss. It is not about being lazy, it's about being smart and easy to recognize. Now I see a crowded, fussy logo and just think it's trying way too hard.

I used to disagree but tiny logos grew on me.

Guess soul is overrated when your logo fits on a shirt button.
