Tried saving my wilting monstera with a hydrogen peroxide soak

Last week I drenched the roots in a 3% mix for 15 minutes thinking it'd fix root rot. Ended up burning half the root system and now I'm propagating cuttings in water. Has anyone else had better luck with diluted peroxide ratios?

... yeah 3% is pretty strong for a soak unless you dilute it way more than that. Most people I know do like 1 part peroxide to 3 or 4 parts water, and even then only leave it for a few minutes.

Yeah, 3% is actually the standard store bought peroxide most people have. You don't need to dilute it that much for a short mouth rinse, a quick 30 second swish is totally fine. Just don't swallow it and you're good.
