That fancy self-watering pot I bought from that online shop in Seattle was a total waste of $60
Turns out the reservoir just grew algae and my fern got root rot within 3 weeks, has anyone else had better luck with a different brand or am I just doing this wrong?

Biggest scam in gardening is paying extra for "smart" gadgets when a regular pot and a finger in the soil works just as well. Half the time these companies slap a fancy name on a plastic tub and call it innovation. Sorry about your fern, though.
