Mine did the same thing after I moved it to a north facing window. It just needed a break from that direct afternoon sun. They can be such drama queens about light.

My friend's fiddle leaf fig threw a total fit last summer. She had it right in a south window and the leaves got all crispy. Moved it back from the light a few feet and it put out two new leaves in a month. They really do tell you exactly what they want.
