Paid $60 for a 'rare' philodendron that turned out to be a weed I could've pulled from my yard

Got it from that plant swap in Austin last month, seller swore it was a Pink Princess cutting but it grew into something that looks exactly like the stuff choking my fence line. Anyone else get scammed by a plant name that sounds fancier than it is?
