My houseplant's 3-month comeback after I stopped babying it

I put my pothos in a dark corner and ignored it for 3 months, then moved it near a south window in Austin and it doubled in size. Turns out the overwatering was the real killer, not the light. Has anyone else seen a bigger change from just backing off?

Feeling this hard, overwatering killed so many of my plants before I finally backed off and let them be.
