Hot take: keeping a detailed plant journal is pointless for most people

I used to think tracking every single watering and leaf drop was essential, but after 6 months of doing it for my 15 houseplants, I realized I just check the soil and look at the plant. What convinced you that a certain botany habit was actually useless or the opposite?

Was a total journal convert until I ditched it and my plants got happier.
