Pro tip: I gave up on using a bone folder for leather work after a project in Boston last month

Everyone swears by them, but I found a simple wooden burnisher from a local craft store gave me way more control for tooling. Has anyone else tried something different for their leather covers?

Switched to a smooth river stone I found years ago. The weight and curve just work better for me on long lines.
