I wasted $38 on that pre-gummed hinge tape from a craft store in Reno
Two of my first text blocks peeled loose after a week because the adhesive let go right at the spine. I bought three rolls at $12.66 each at a store on Virginia Street and figured it would save me the glue brush setup time. The tape curled at the edges and left a sticky mess on my pressing boards. Has anyone found a tape that actually holds, or should I just go back to good old PVA and a brush?
