Hot take: The binding corner I saw at a used bookstore in Portland
I was browsing Powell's last weekend and found a 1920s copy of Moby Dick with the corners completely busted, like someone used it as a doorstop for 50 years. The previous owner didn't even bother with a basic cloth joint repair. How do you folks handle reinforcing corners without making them look like Frankenstein?
