Hot take: hand-sewn headbands beat the pre-made ones every time for durability
I switched to making my own headbands after a customer brought back a book from 3 years ago with the pre-made ones falling apart, and the hand-sewn ones on a similar book I did are still holding up strong... has anyone else noticed that difference over time?

Wait, like is this really that deep? I feel like headband durability is one of those things where if it works, it just works. I've had cheap pre-made books last years and fancy ones fall apart after a few reads.

lmao "if it works it just works" is basically my life motto for everything including my questionable life choices 😂 my fancy book fell apart faster than my cheap IKEA furniture

Yeah hot glue on the spine is a lifesaver. I've fixed a couple books that way and they held up better than the originals. Sometimes the cheap fix really does outlast the fancy one.
