Josie's mom was clearly just scared for her kid.

My friend's book club once argued for a full hour about a single line in a different book. They were all so sure of their own reading that they forgot to just talk about the story. It got so heated that two people almost quit the group over it.

Did you come around on it too? I used to think she was selfish but this thread changed my mind a bit.
