Pro tip: Don't buy the fancy hardback for your book club pick
I spent $35 on the special edition of our last novel, thinking the notes would help. The 'analysis' was just two pages of obvious themes, and now I'm stuck with a book I can't resell. Has anyone found a good source for actual discussion guides?

Check your local library's website for guides.

Yeah, the guides are a great tip! What kind of stuff have you found on yours? Mine has these really specific ones, like how to start composting in an apartment.

Oh totally! I found this amazing guide on my library's site for fixing my garden soil last year... it saved me so much time. I never would have thought to look there first, but they have stuff on everything. Honestly it's the best free resource that nobody really talks about.
