My club voted 5 to 3 to skip the last chapter of A Little Life and I am still mad about it
At our Wednesday meetup at the library on 5th street, three people admitted they had not cracked the book past page 200 and pushed to just watch the movie version instead. I said that skipping the ending of a book about grief was basically reading a different book, and the group leader shrugged and said we could circle back next month. How do you all handle members who show up to debate a book they never finished?
