My book club friend in Cincinnati got so mad about the ending of 'The Silent Patient' she threw her paperback across the room.
It hit a lamp and knocked it over, and she just yelled 'I can't believe he was the gardener!' Anyone else have a meeting that got that heated?

That ending was a real shocker. It made me put the book down and just stare at the wall for a minute. A good twist should make you feel a bit unsteady.
