I spent $50 on a book club guide and it was a total waste
Our group picked 'The Overstory' last month, and I was totally lost. I bought a $50 online 'discussion guide' with questions and analysis. The questions were so basic they killed any real talk, and the analysis felt like a high school book report. We ended up ignoring it after ten minutes and just arguing about the characters, which was way better. Has anyone found a good, cheap resource that actually sparks debate instead of shutting it down?
