Hit 50 books this year and my book club thinks I'm lying

Our group's goal was 24 but I just crossed 50 over the weekend. Now they're asking for screenshots from my reading app because they don't believe anyone could read that fast. Has anyone else had your club get weird about hitting a milestone?

I heard reading speed varies so much person to person, that's wild they'd doubt you.

@taylor_barnes59, people get weird about reading stuff. Like it's some kind of contest or something. Honestly, who cares if someone reads fast or slow? Doubting someone over it just sounds like a flex on their part. Reading speed depends on the book too. A dense textbook versus a thriller, totally different pace. Life's too short to gatekeep how people consume words.
