Found out I was marking up all my book club discussion questions wrong for 2 years thinking I had to avoid spoilers entirely
Last month a member told me spoiler tags exist and now I realize my vague questions about 'the incident in chapter 3' probably made everyone hate our debates - has anyone else accidentally ruined their book club flow by overthinking the format?

OMG the "incident in chapter 3" thing is SO relatable. I did the EXACT same thing with my mystery book club for like a year and a half. I kept asking things like "what did you think about the thing that happened at the party" and everyone would just stare at me confused. Finally my friend Sarah pulled me aside and was like "girl, the spoiler tags are right there in the toolbar." I felt SO dumb but also relieved because now our discussions actually have substance instead of cryptic nonsense.
