Book Club Split Over a Twist Ending, One Member Refused to Talk to Me for a Week
Last month our group in Portland read a thriller where the narrator turns out to be unreliable, and I argued the whole thing was a dream. One guy slammed his coffee down and said, "You're just mad you missed the foreshadowing," then didn't reply to any chats until the next meeting. Has anyone else had a debate get so personal that it changed the vibe of the whole club, or do I need to apologize first?
