That $300 neon pink couch taught me a lesson about showroom lighting
I bought a couch from a showroom in Sacramento where the pink looked muted and kind of classy. Got it home and next to my mustard yellow rug it was like a highlighter exploded in my living room. The combo physically hurt my eyes after 10 minutes. I sold it on OfferUp for $75 and now I always drag fabric samples to the window before buying. Has anyone else been burned by floor lighting making bold colors look way less intense?
