Painted my kitchen orange and teal, my neighbor said it looked like a sunset crash
Tbh I spent last weekend doing a split wall with burnt orange below and teal above, and the combo somehow made the whole room feel warmer than either color alone, so has anyone else found a clash that actually fixes bad lighting instead of making it worse?

Two weeks ago I did a deep navy on the north wall of my living room and everyone said it would eat the light, but it actually made the whole space feel less cave-like at 4pm. Does the teal sit on the ceiling or just above the line, because that changes whether you're getting reflection or absorption?
