Everyone loves that mustard and teal combo but I had a week where it made my whole living room look like a 1970s hospital waiting area.

My sister swore it would be "bold and cozy" but after painting three walls in my apartment in Denver, the mustard brownish hue clashed so bad with the teal couch that my roommate asked if we were going for a "jaundice chic" look, anyone else had a trendy color pair just bomb on execution?
