Pipe tack trick I picked up in Baton Rouge last month
Had a flange keep pulling out of alignment during a big weld out, tried magnets and clamps and still fought it. A guy from the local hall showed me to tack a small angle iron across the backside as a brace, took me 10 minutes and it held perfect. Anyone else use temporary braces like that instead of babysitting the fit-up?
