Just realized the bolt pattern on old riveted tanks is not what I thought
I was doing a repair on a 1980s tank in Gary last week and found the flange bolts were 1 inch, not the 7/8 I had in my truck. Where do you guys look up original specs when the drawings are missing?

Got a buddy who spent a whole day swapping out a pump on an old tank, only to find the bolts were metric when everything else on the site was standard. He ended up just welding a nut onto a stripped one and calling it a day, still swears by that trick to this day.
