Had to walk off a site in Baton Rouge over a weld test
Got hired on at a paper mill over by Baton Rouge back in March. The foreman handed me a 6G pipe test and told me to run it hot and fast, then he kept pushing me to skip the back purge. I told him no, that's how you get sugaring and a blowout, but he said his way was how they always did it. I packed my leads and left. Anyone else walked off a job rather than fail a test or take a shortcut?
