PSA: I spent two years drawing out my tapers by eye before a guy in Toledo asked why my tongs all look the same
Turns out I never once used a pair of calipers on hot steel and just guessed every time, which is why half my scroll work curls left. Anyone got a cheap caliper they trust for measuring hot stock without the jaws warping?
