Found a trick to stop my anvil from ringing without those stupid magnets

I stuffed a bunch of old welding rod stubs into the hardy hole and it killed the ring completely, has anyone else tried something weird like that?

I tried shoving a big chain link into my hardy hole once and it did the same thing. That high pitched ring drives me nuts so I'm always looking for weird fixes.

@phoenix845 is it really that annoying though? Just seems like a lot of effort.
