A kid at the county fair made my whole month
I was doing a demo at the old Millbrook fair last weekend, just making some simple S-hooks. This boy, maybe ten, named Leo, watched for a full twenty minutes without saying a word. When I finally handed him a cooled hook, he held it and said, 'It's still warm, like it remembers being fire.' That line stuck with me more than any sale. Anyone else have a moment where a simple comment just hit different?

Ever notice how the best truths come from kids just saying what they see?

Oh wow, that's beautiful. It's wild how kids cut right to the heart of things, they don't have all the filters yet. I notice that a lot, the most profound observations come from just watching something simple and saying exactly what you see.
