That 12 episode anime box set I bought in 2009 still haunts my shelf
Back in 2009 I dropped $180 on a full anime series box set because the first three episodes I streamed were amazing. The next nine episodes dragged so bad that I never even finished the last two discs. It's been 16 years and that set still sits on my bottom shelf collecting dust, a constant reminder of impulse buys. I know physical media is making a comeback now but I still get twitchy every time I see a complete series on sale. Has anyone else paid full price for a show that turned out to be a total snoozefest after the pilot?
