Used to hate waiting, thought binging was way better. Then I tried watching Severance week to week. The theories and talking with friends online made it an event. Now I miss that feeling of having something to look forward to all week.

Yeah, that feeling of having something to look forward to all week. It's like we got rid of all the waiting in life, but then we lost the good kind of waiting. Now everything is just there, ready to be used up. It makes the stuff feel cheaper, even if it's a good show. We traded the slow build for the quick hit and I'm not sure it was a good deal.
