I thought 'The Bear' was just another food show hype train
Everyone kept telling me to watch it, but I figured a show about a kitchen would be boring. I finally gave in after seeing it win all those Emmys last year. I watched the first two episodes and was hooked by the stress and the real feeling of that kitchen life. The way they show the panic during a dinner rush in episode 7 actually made my heart race lol. It's way more about family and pressure than just cooking. Has anyone else been totally wrong about a show everyone loved?

My hot take was way off about Breaking Bad. I thought it was just a show about a teacher making drugs, which sounded dumb. Binged the whole thing in two weeks because the tension was unreal. It's more about watching a good person break bad than anything else.
