I hit 100 episodes of a show in a single month and my streaming service sent me a weird email
I got really into this old detective series called 'Cold Case Files' and just kept watching after work. My 'My List' page on the app said I'd watched 102 episodes in 30 days, which is wild because I didn't even feel like I was watching that much. Then I got an automated email from the service asking if I needed help managing my account, which honestly made me laugh. Has anyone else gotten a funny notification from their streaming service after a serious binge?

Honestly that email sounds kind of worrying, not funny. Watching over 100 episodes in a month is a huge amount of screen time, and maybe the service is right to check in. Tbh if someone is spending that many hours on a show after work, it might be a sign to look at their habits. I don't see it as a joke, I see it as a fair question from the company. They probably have a duty to say something when usage looks extreme. Ngl, getting that email should make you think, not laugh.

Remember when Blockbuster used to call if you kept a tape too long? They just wanted their copy of "Speed" back. Now a streaming service asks if you're okay because you watched a whole cartoon universe in thirty days. Progress, I guess. At least they didn't charge a late fee.

What, you've never had a main character crisis before?
