Hit episode 100 of The Office rewatch and realized something weird

Tbh I just crossed episode 100 on my latest rewatch of The Office US. Ive seen it like 5 times before but this time I noticed how much the show changed after season 5. The whole Michael Scott Paper Company arc hit different at 2am last week. Anyone else get stuck noticing new details on rewatches?

Wait what. The Michael Scott Paper Company arc is like peak awkwardness for me. I always skip the first few episodes of season 5 because of how cringey that whole thing is. But now I gotta go back and watch it again because you're making me wonder what I missed. The way Michael just shows up with Pam and they print stuff in his condo is so weirdly wholesome now that I think about it. Never caught that before.

Honestly you might be onto something because I always brushed that arc off as too uncomfortable to watch too. But the way you describe it, Michael having that little operation in his condo with Pam, it's almost like a dad trying to start a lemonade stand with his kid. The wholesomeness never clicked for me until now, maybe I was too busy cringing at Ryan's whole vibe that season to notice.
