Cold open binge marathons broke my watching habit for good
I used to skip every intro and jump straight into episodes, thinking I was saving time. About 4 months ago I started a show where the cold open actually mattered, like clues hidden before the theme song hit. Now I let intros play on everything, even sitcoms, because I missed a whole subplot in one series by skipping 30 seconds. It's weird how a small routine shift changes your whole viewing flow, my wife thinks I'm nuts. Has anyone else had a show that forced them to watch something they always skipped?
