Veteran mechanic told me to ditch Park Tool grease for marine grease

He said it holds up way better in wet conditions and he's been using it for 15 years. Tried it on a hub rebuild last month after a rainy century - any of you guys use boat grease on bearings?

Same thing here man. Switched over to marine grease last year and never looked back. My truck's ball joints were eating through regular stuff every 6 months. Marine grease has held up for over a year now with zero issues. Even use it on my tractor attachments and trailer hitch now. Stuff is just tougher all around.
