Hydraulic bleed turned into a brake fluid fountain in my shop

Last Tuesday I was bleeding a set of Shimano brakes and the bleed cup slipped off, dumping mineral oil all over a customer's frame and my bench. Took me 20 minutes with degreaser to clean it up before I could even finish the job. Anyone else had a bleed kit fail like that, or did I just get a bad cup?

That mineral oil gets everywhere too, it's like it has a personal vendetta against shop towels. Once it soaks into a frame, you're basically chasing it around with degreaser for the rest of the day.
