Debate: Should you grease pedal threads or use threadlocker?
I always greased pedal threads like the old shop manuals say, but after three pairs came loose on customers' bikes I switched to blue Loctite last month and haven't had a single return since, so what do you guys use and why?

Wait, THREE pairs came loose on customers? That's wild to me! I've been greasing pedal threads for like 15 years and never had one come loose, not even on my own beaters. I'm honestly shocked you had that many failures with grease. Are you sure you were torquing them down enough or maybe your customers were just really hard on their pedals? I've always heard the whole threadlocker thing is overkill for pedals, but hey, if it's working for you now and stopping returns, that's what matters at the end of the day.
