Cable housing lengths, everyone measures wrong except me apparently
Been doing this 12 years now. Every new guy in the shop pulls housing tight and cuts. Then the bars turn and yank the brake line. I measure with the bars at full lock both ways. Add 15mm for the bend. Took a customer's bike back 3 times last month because I let an apprentice do it his way. Finally did it mine, zero issues since. Why is measuring slack such a fight with folks?
