My attempt to document regional pitmaster styles hit a snag

I'm putting together a guide on BBQ styles across the country... but I'm struggling to find info on pitmasters from the Pacific Northwest. Does anyone know any notable ones from that area?

Honestly the search is hard because the PNW just doesn't have a deep barbecue tradition like the South or Midwest. They're more known for smoked salmon and that sort of thing over there. You might find a few places doing it, but you won't find a defining regional style because it never really took root. Focusing on them for a national guide feels like forcing it.

Oregon has some great ones, right? I ran into the same wall looking for their take on beef ribs...

Oregon does have some solid spots once you look past the smoked salmon idea that mila_jones39 mentioned. You just have to know where to dig, like the places using oak from old wine barrels. It's not a whole style but there's good meat to be found.
