Am I the only one who thinks Franklin's brisket is overhyped?

I waited in line for 4 hours at Franklin BBQ in Austin last summer and honestly I was let down. The bark was great but the meat was way too salty for my taste. I've had better brisket from a food truck in Lockhart for half the price. Anyone else feel like the long wait doesn't match the quality?

Nah I gotta disagree here, I've been to Franklin a few times and that brisket is consistently some of the best I've ever had. The salt level feels balanced to me and the fat renders perfectly every time. Maybe you caught them on an off day but I'd give it another shot.
