Why I now change my clipper blades every week
Last month, I started swapping my blades each Friday. My clippers work better and cut more evenly. I finish haircuts quicker with less effort. This small change has really helped my day go smoother. How often do you replace your blades?

Totally agree that cleaning is the real game changer here. Most people notice the blades getting dull but miss the slow build up of tiny hairs and gunk in the mechanism itself. That gunk creates drag and friction long before the edge is truly gone. A deep clean with spray and a brush, followed by oil, restores the smooth action almost every time. It turns a weekly replacement into something you might only do every month or two, depending on your volume. You really have to feel the difference in the hand to believe how much a simple clean helps.

From what I've seen, weekly blade changes are often too much for most people. Blade life can vary based on how much you cut and what hair type you have. A good clean and oil every now and then can make them last longer between swaps.

Found that a quick rinse under hot water after each use keeps mine sharp way longer.
